About

Cali Wang's compositions cover a variety of genres, from lush orchestral scores to industrial/electronic sound design, to hybrid composition. She has worked on various TV series, commercials and short films in Taiwan, as well as collaborating with theatrical artists, before she moved to Los Angeles for USC's Masters of Music program in Screen Scoring, and has been working on projects in Hollywood since.

Her recent credits include VOGUE: Cake Bomb (2021), starring Renate Reinsve, directed by Alexi Tan, and Apple TV / A24’s HOME (2022), co-composed with Aska Matsumiya. Cali had also worked on several game projects with Blizzard Entertainment, where she assisted music productions for "World of Warcraft" and “Overwatch".

She received several awards and recognition throughout the past years, including 2023's Daytime Emmy Nomination for HOME (2022), 2018's BMI Pete Carpenter Fellowship, 2020's Krakow Film Music Festival's Young Talent Award Top 10 Nominee, and 2021's New Music / SESAC Reel Change Foundation Awardee.
